Our Story

Good soap belongs in every home.

Night after night, the same thing happened before bed. My legs would itch so intensely that I would scratch until my skin was raw.

By the time the itching settled, I was frustrated, worn down, and struggling to sleep.

Eventually, I decided to try a natural bar of soap.

After that first wash, I noticed a remarkable difference. The itching I had come to expect every evening stopped.

For me, that was the moment I knew this was a business I could believe in.

But the story became even more meaningful when it reached my children.

At the time, they were four and two. I was cautious about changing their bath routine, especially because I worried about soap stinging their eyes. We were using an Aveeno children’s wash that I had trusted.

My daughter had often asked me to scratch her back, but until that evening, I hadn’t noticed how dry her skin looked.

Then one evening, after my daughter had finished her bath, she came back and asked me to scratch her back again. My second child was still in the tub.

This time, I really saw it.

There was a dry layer of skin across her whole back.

Seeing that made me pick up the bottle we had been using and read the ingredient list more closely.

I realized how little I knew about those ingredients, and I wanted to understand what we were putting on our skin.

That was the moment that pushed me to try the same bar of soap I had already been using myself.

After we made that change, my daughter stopped asking me to scratch her back.

Over time, I found myself using that same bar for more than just washing my body. I started using it for my hair, too. And then for shaving.

For me, it became the best shaving soap I had ever used.

Then something else clicked.

I realized that I had been using one product for my body, another for my hair, and another for shaving.

Together, those three product labels listed almost 60 ingredients.

Today, I use one bar for all three.

It simplified my routine and made me think much more carefully about the everyday products we bring into our home.

Our family’s experience became the heart of Zoey n’ Ash.

And it shaped what we believe: families shouldn’t have to choose between well-being and affordability.
